I recently upgraded my iPhone 3G to the new iPhone 4. Since the majority of the day to day pix I take are on my iPhone I decided I would start blogging some of them.
The new iPhone has a great feature that makes it easy to create a shallow depth of field which if you know me you know I love!! It also has a much improved camera vs the old one!!!
So now onto my first post of iPhone pix. These are the first three on the new phone.
So I got a neat little macro lens for my camera and have been having a blast shooting with it! The depth of field is so shallow… Here are a few images I have taken with it from around the house!

I love pottery barn because they give your home a warm upscale feeling while encouraging the display of photographs. As a photographer and lover of all things photography I love this idea.
I have a entry wall in my home that is covered in framed pix from top to bottom. I will share a pic when I remember. I love it. Everyone comes in and looks at it as they come into my home. It allows them a small glimpse into our life both past and present.

I had the honor of photographing another little boy this week and wow did he make my day! Not only did he have an amazing head of beautiful hair but his mamma bathed and fed him right before our appt and it paid off big time! I got the whole session done in an hour which is a record for me…He was such a good sleepy baby and hardly made a peep our entire session. Thanks again S & S for contacting me to capture this amazing new time in all of your lives. I am truly honored. 🙂 Big thanks to grandpa L for the referral.

I had the pleasure of meeting 2 week old baby “J”. He is so handsome and has beautiful blue eyes…I know this because he kept them open our whole session!!! We tried all the normal tricks on him and it just was not happening. So we decided to call it quits and try again in a few days. Here are a few images we did get from our time together!

I have been swamped lately between mini vacations, getting sick and Miss J being home for the summer!!! I wanted to take her out and do a session that really captured the essence of her this summer at 10.5 years old. She loves music, her iPhone, pets, neon colors and peace signs and silly Bandz of course. So we took the camera and went to the mall and shot these in the parking structure in about 15 mins! They are some of my favorite images of her because they are just that…HER! Portrait sessions don’t always need to be sit and smile and be perfect, there is nothing better than coming away with a bunch of images that actually “feel” like your kids! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I have been blessed with some amazing new clients and their beautiful newborns lately.
